Day one of HTEC down; first contest winner announced!

So the first day of HTEC is over. What a great day it has been! Personally, I was happy to be able to put more faces to names (and voices :). The turnout has been great; one of the organizers of the conference said that a few months back only 30 people had registered. They were happy to report that there are around 150 attendees here which is pretty impressive in my opinion.

So yesterday I mentioned we were holding a draw for an X4 Instructor Kit with Lathe ($225.00 value!) for those that could stop by our booth. The interest in that has been great and so we have decided to draw from the names we’ve collected today and draw a second name tomorrow as well! So if you haven’t made it over to our booth yet, be sure to drop by tomorrow.

My only regret 2 regrets thus far are 1) forgetting my business cards set aside on my desk back in the office and 2) not being able to find my adapter for my camera’s Memory Stick (gotta love Sony and their proprietary tech). That unfortunately means that I can’t upload any pictures I’ve taken so far until we get back to the office.
